Welcome again to my Abode!
The figures I revealed in the last episode are nerve wracking and unnerving, agreed, but it is not just their magnitude or enormity which is beyond human comprehension, but also the ‘skill’ with which the ‘miniaturist’ has shrunk them. And the way miraculous ‘engineer’ has laid them in a certain order for their most efficient functioning as a whole…a whole perfect you. The set of equipment which could thickly populate 15 million earths compressed near infinitely to enable it to be fitted in one human body, with a lot more space to spare. Isn’t it the real thing…. the real MIRACLE. Or is it?
And what is even more flabbergasting is that the whole set of factories works non-stop, 24 hours a day, in perfect coordination to each other without taking a breather and moreover guaranteed for your lifetime. The length of your life is up to you, how long you want to make it. May I call it a miracle? The work of the Divine?
Again, the inexorable sceptics who have espoused the theory of evolution without actually comprehending it in its entirety, might say, that this whole grand set up is the result of fifteen billion years of evolution, that development of all living organisms is just the result of natural processes. They couldn’t be farther away from the truth.
By proclaiming that we are the product of natural processes if they mean it is the workmanship of the Nature, then Nature must be the divine in whose quest we are in. And if by ‘natural processes’ they imply that it is a random process then I would like to prove to them that there is nothing random about creation of an intricately complex machine almost perfect in performance that we the living are. If we go in depth, which will be my endeavour in the next few articles, of how all the ‘machines’ in a human being are functioning, any die-hard sceptics would change their stance and yield to the truth. The intricacies, precision and the specific algorithms required to just keep us alive require a source beyond mere random natural processes…… much more beyond chance if you will.
Is evolution random or it has intelligence imbued?
What is intelligence? Isn’t it the quality which imparts an ability to adapt to the environment utilising available resources to understand, learn and flourish, isn’t it? Isn’t that what in fact evolution is and how it progressed? Isn’t it how the evolution happens?
(I shall elaborate on the topic of evolution in my later articles elucidating my dear readers how evolution forms an intrinsic part of the divine process.)
Evolution is a systematic, and in no way a random development. Here is the reason. Any methodical development has to have a beginning and a blueprint to follow. The largest structures with elaborate layouts begin with just one brick and then brick by brick, a resplendent edifice gets created. Without a blueprint made by a competent architect would the building and it’s magnificence have been at all possible? And a very important fact to be taken notice of, the building howsoever technically designed can in no way be even self-maintaining as living bodies are which we will discover later in the treatise. If a building needs a blueprint to produce something admirable, didn’t evolution require something akin to a layout plan when the end results are ineffably beautiful and fully functional species of myriads of life forms? And if indeed there was a blueprint to begin with then doesn’t the existence of the creator of that intelligent design becomes imperative? We are one of the millions of species, but could it have been possible without an ‘intelligent’ plan? From a single cell organism to more than 8 million species in eighteen cosmic years, does this remind you of another evolution on fast track?.. The conception of a baby and its growth from one cell to trillions of cells in less than one earth year.
Taking this case forward from one cell more than two hundred types of cells get produced for different types of tissues in a human embryo. Then all the cells go to their designated locations to become different parts of the body, head, eyes, arms, legs, fingers, internal organs…. The various parts of all trillions of people, who have visited our most beautiful planet, were always fixed at the same exact locations. Is anything random about it? Is it in any way possible without a ‘blueprint’? If there wasn’t a definite ‘program’ for the creation of a body, then we could’ve commented that the whole process was random when on the roads and the streets we would’ve witnessed the various parts of bodies of various people and animals attached at different and unwanted spots. Instead of one leg, there could’ve been an arm or an ear or an eye, or in place of the eye, a hand or in place of the mouth a leg, isn’t it what randomness would’ve produced? A mixture of grotesque creatures instead of beautiful nearly perfect symmetrical faces and bodies? Wouldn’t the result of randomness have been faces and figures out of some horror movie?
This symmetrical beauty which we witness on daily basis is not restricted to humans but is applicable to each and every living species. Can we overlook the pattern on the skin of leopards’ uniform everywhere or the graceful manes of a lion or for that matter the scintillating beauty of a dancing peacock with spread out feathers? Do these universal creations leave us in any doubt that they are a product of a well laid out plan, a definite “programme”?
Of course not!
Since the whole process is planned or ‘programmed’ isn’t it the work of ‘intelligence’? Combine that inference with the constantly and consistently operating miraculous machinery installed in our bodies, can we call the whole as the action of not just any intelligence but the ‘Divine Intelligence’?
Once we go further for the confirmation of Divine Intelligence and delve into the inner working of our bodies, we will find that the human body operates like a well-orchestrated symphony, a complex interplay of countless cells, tissues and organs functioning in a harmonious balance. An intricate web of biological mechanisms that sustains life. From the elegant dance of enzymes to the cryptic signals coursing through the nervous system, the ceaseless activity within the brain even in your deep sleep would captivate you by its staggering complexity. The delicate balance of our bodies being maintained by the hormones travelling through your blood stream, relentless beating of the heart, providing you with the ‘fuel’ and oxygen to survive and the wonderous labyrinth of your immune system tirelessly defending you against invading threats and you will be humbled by its infallible capacity for your protection. Behold the miracle of reproduction and the intricate processes and algorithm involved that gives rise to a new, perfect and beautiful life, and you will be left breathless by the sheer marvel of procreation. And we are just warming up.
From the next article onwards, I will explore what unbelievable miracles are going on within our bodies, one by one. I assure you they will enthral you, keep you in a state of utter awe and wonderment. As I ruminate on those countless miracles bestowed upon us by the divine, my very being inclines in profound reverence humbled by their magnitude.
When we dive into the unfathomable complexities of our body’s workings, be prepared to be engulfed by a profound sense of awe and disbelief that defies rational explanation. It might even make you ask with frisson and consternation,
