When a certain foreign living organism enters our body our DIVINE systems recognize it instantly as a threat. Now how does our body systems come to know that there is an alien inside our body’s sacrosanct environment?Once you become aware of how this happens you would be flabbergasted by this incredible system of identification bestowed by the infinite wisdom of NATURE and you would indubitably be assured that an extremely high intelligence and technology is in operation .What is that unbelievable system of identification?
Each and every cell of each and every living species has been provided with a uniform “dress code”. If there are a million species of bacteria, just for instance, then each of the million types of bacteria will have a dress code unique to that species. Each of the member of that species would have the same code embedded on each of it’s cell. Humans are not special we too have a dress code unique to humans embedded on each cell of our body. To elucidate more the unique human code would be same for a person living in a high society of the richest country of the world and the poorest of the poor in least developed country. As far as the uniformity of the dress code is concerned the nature does not differentiate within the species but is very conservatively exclusive across species. No two species will ever have the same dress code.In scientific terminology that dress code is called ANTIGEN which forms the basis of differentiating friend from foe.
To introduce another scientific term which I might use a few times in my articles, PATHOGEN, a living microscopic species which is harmful to humans. Bacteria, virus, fungus are but a few examples of pathogens.
Pathogens are the villains which keep on attacking our bodies to cause infections and some of them repeatedly. For those pathogens which have tried to make our body a hunting ground in the past get destroyed by blitz attack by our body which always remains prepared for repeat attacks by the same enemy. But when a particular species of pathogen attempts to invade our body the very first time it has to face our front-line defenders as seen in previous articles. Once it has overcome them it enters our blood. It starts consuming the nutrients in our blood and begins to multiply rapidly. While proliferating it excretes toxins which start making us feel sick. At this stage the body systems have been warned of the successful invasion by a new enemy and the next level of immune response kicks in. The actors in this theatre of war are a mélange of WHITE BLOOD CELLS.
The armies of WBCs which participate at this stage of skirmishes are (to make it easier for the readers to understand I am using numbers which are cross referenced to their scientific names at the culmination of this article) 1,2.3,4,5,6,7,8.Just imagine our body uses 8 armies of different types of WBCs to counter infection at different stages of the battle for different purposes.
Soldiers of ARMY 1 are continuously roaming in the body through blood vessels always on the look out for intruders.Once they come across the invaders they recognise them as enemy infiltrators from their ANTIGEN and launch an attack on them.This action has two possible results ,pathogens are eliminated or ARMY 1 is overwhelmed by the preponderance of PATHOGENS.
After ARMY 1 has suffered ignominious defeat ARMY 2 marches in battle formation into the theatre of war.It converts itself to ARMY 3 and pounces ruthlessly on the invading force. Normally their entry into the battle is the last we see of pathogens,but sometimes ARMY 3 also gets overwhelmed as the invaders are new and body at this stage has no clue how to face it effectively.
Once ARMY 3 starts losing the battle and writing is on the wall they send an SOS for immediate back up.This signal alerts the brain of the immune system to take the matter seriously.At this juncture the immune system wonders who are these inexorable creatures which even their strongmen ARMY 3 could not eliminate.To check out the enemy the system deploys the INTELLIGENCE wing ARMY 4 to study the enemy and their tactics.The investigation team 4 captures few enemy soldiers and presents them to the head quarters HQ .It takes full day for this to happen .In the HQ there are many types of ARMIES OF 5 which in fact are T cells.There are different types of 5, infact a unique type to counter every pathogen known to humans and many more.Atleast one warrior among ARMY 5 is the ONE which is a perfect antidote for this particular enemy among the myriad of them provided by NATURE in advance . This particular soldier of ARMY 5 gets activated just by coming in proximity of the pathogen as if by magic.As soon as this happens three activities take place in the HQ.
- The particular T cells start getting manufactured and converted into killer cells in millions creating a massive ARMY 5.1.
Here I want to share an extremely amazing narrative .
The WBCs are produced in the bone marrow.Out of them the fittest are selected for training as warriors to form the ARMY 5.1.The selected ones are sent to the MILITARY ACADEMY(MI) where they are screened for their aptitude .The ones who are found irascible,impulsive and trigger happy are rejected.The rest are admitted to the MI for training which involves being trained to differentiate the enemy from their own.They are further trained how to capture and kill the enemy hiding in the body’s own cells,which they accomplish by eliminating the infected cells altogether.
Once their training is complete they are billeted at multiple “encampments”through out our body ready to launch a counter attack within seconds when needed.
- ARMY 6 gets manufatured and set in motion.
- ARMY 7 gets manufactured and activated.
While our body is in the process of marshalling resources to counter the invasion ,which has taken just above 48 hours, the PATHOGEN,the enemy has reproduced fast and starts leaking out of the blood vessels to attack cells and infecting them.
At this stage body’s preparations are complete and various deployments take place simultaneously.
- The warriors of ARMY 5.1 start killing infected cells to limit the infection .
- The members of ARMY 7 proceed to ARMY 8 with samples of enemy’s ANTIGEN.Just as ARMY 5 is, soldiers of ARMY 8 are also of numerous types.Atleast one among them gets activated just by being in the proximity of the ANTIGEN.As soon that happens It starts getting replicated in millions.These newly replicated soldiers release innumerable antibodies specific to the invading PATHOGEN .These antibodies bind with the ANTIGEN of the PATHOGEN immobilising them making them sitting ducks.Once the PATHOGENS are “arrested”they have been “laser”marked for destruction.The antibodies then send signal to soldiers of ARMY 3 and ARMY 1 which engulf the “prisoners”and gobble them up.In the interior chambers of these gobblers the PATHOGENS are showered with enzymes and other chemicals which are highly acidic.This combined onslaught disintegrates the PATHOGENS thus eliminating them instantly.
- Members of ARMY 6 are memory cells and have a very long life.Their job is to keep a record of the encounter and preserve the memory in it’s archives for decades.It is going to remember this particular PATHOGEN and its nemesis forever.On the basis of this stored memory whenever this particular species of PATHOGEN invades again the countermeasures the body will take would be instant,precise and severe.
- The members of ARMY 7,which is the medical corps,begins to and keeps on energising the members of ARMY 8 so that they don’t get exhausted and lose their capability to keep performing with vigour.The medical corps also energises members of ARMY 1 and ARMY 3 for the same reason.
Just bear in mind that all the above activities are happening simultaneously.The enemy is being surrounded from all directions to be consigned to oblivion.
The very first time a new PATHOGEN infects the body the fight back by the body is slow and weak as it takes about 48 hours for our immune system to analyse the PATHOGEN,determine the most appropriate response and putting that in motion.But if next time the same PATHOGEN dares to attack again ever in life the memory cells of ARMY 6 are ready with the perfect response,absolutely ruthless and instantaneous.This record of encounter and countermeasures adopted by our body is how body develops immunity. For this reason the infants are vaccinated against the deadly diseases using emancipated pathogens so that when those diseases strike ever in life the body is fully prepared to defend itself against the onslaught successfully.And this precisely is the reason that children are recommended to get themselves”dirty”as this would expose them to infections early on in life and their bodies become”capable”to fight off those infections later in life whenever they strike again.This is how a child develops immunity.Do you know what contains the first dose of “vaccinations” for the infant?The breast milk.This most precious commodity for infants not only contains nutrients but immunising “elixir”too.
The human body’s ability to heal itself is perhaps one of the most awe inspiring miracles.Wounds mend,broken bones knit together on their own and organs regenerate to a great extent all on their own.The coordinated efforts of various cellular and molecular processes,including inflammation,tissue repair and cellular proliferation contribute to the body’s remarkable capacity of self renewal.This is the amazing topic I am going to take up soon.
My aim is to establish that what all happens in our body is no coincidence,nothing happens ad hoc or randomly but follows a well planned architecture,a definite system,a perfect algorithm.This does not happen in a human body only but in the bodies of all who have taken birth and are extant.For the same issue the solution is exactly the same which ever creature it might be.
When every planned activity needs a capable planner doesn’t it become imperative that for perfect planning the planner too has to be the perfect one?
Of course!
And don’t overlook or underestimate the technology required for the living body to self sustain,self maintain and self cure and repair itself. The technology which makes the trillions of trillions of machines working in a human body run perfectly and non stop.Even the maintenance of those innumerable machines gets carried out on their own on the run.Do we have even a semblance of such technology even in one machine fabricated by us humans.Even the most automated machines seem rustic and obsolete compared to the technology fitted in the living.
Then what options do we have to address such an entity as?
Only DIVINE INTELLIGENCE could fit the bill.
Only DIVINE could it be.
Do we have any alternative?
In the next article I will consolidate what all we have assimilated about life till now and deliberate on that before re embarking on our grand journey forward.
